The solution

The weatherproof SL-60SW/EN speakers cover the stand evenly over its full length. Certified to IP66 and EN 54, these PA speakers are ideally suited to outdoor use and combine high sound quality, level stability and readiness for service in any weather. On the pitch, IT-400TW horn speakers are used: for faithful speech and music reproduction the 2-way music horns have a 6.5-inch cone bass-mid driver plus an HF driver, producing a wide-band sound with a distinct fundamental. For speech transmission — presenting sports events, say, or general visitor information — a UF-20R/5 wireless system with the dynamic JSS-20/5 handheld transmitter is used. Combined with two passive UHF directional antennas, a considerable increase in range can be achieved for wireless reception.
